One of OASIS'® new plugs, MH Eye Care's OASIS SOFT PLUG® Extended Duration 180 Canalicular is a medium term plug that dissolves in up to 6 months. Another key treatment solution for dry eye patients, the plug is inserted into the canaliculus to block tear drainage. The plug's lifetime ranges between that of shorter term collagen plugs, which absorb within several days, and a permanent plug, which remains in the eye indefinitely.
